Devin has been a fixture within Michigan’s cannabis legalization effort from its early days of medical-use to its fast-growing adult-use market. He is the sitting Treasurer for the State Bar of Michigan’s Cannabis Law Section, helping to educate nearly one thousand attorneys on Michigan’s ever evolving cannabis laws. He has built a reputation around cannabis compliance and regulatory issues from licensure to sustainable operations. Helping companies through licensure, growth strategy execution, consolidation events and dispute matters. Devin serves as corporate counsel for a number of licensed cannabis companies and will continue to be instrumental in the implementation of client’s plans to scale and, eventually, exit the space in Michigan. Devin also has a history of representing Defendants rights in the criminal justice sytem. Devin received his J.D. from Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, where he was the Vice President of the Tax Law Society.
